Warsaw and Winona Lake are designated a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists.
According to the League of American Bicyclists, "a Bicycle Friendly Community welcomes bicyclists by providing safe accommodations for bicycling and encouraging people to bike for transportation and recreation. Making bicycling safe and convenient are keys to improving public health, reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality and improving quality of life. "
Ride+Walk Warsaw+Winona Lake is an organization spearheaded by municipalities to work toward improved infrastructure and programming in our community for both cyclists and pedestrians.

Bicycle Rack Requests
In an effort to create an interesting and pleasing atmosphere, the City of Warsaw has established a unified design theme for public utilities in the downtown district. The bicycle racks placed in public right of way contribute to this theme. If you are interested in having one of these bicycle racks placed in front of your property in the public right of way, please fill out this form (PDF) and submit it to Justin Taylor.
