Pike Lake Beach
Address: 1009 E. Arthur Street, Warsaw, IN 46580
Hours: May 1 to Sept 30, 6 AM - 10 PM; Oct 1 to Apr 30, 7 AM - 8 PM

Picnic tables are not available at Pike Lake Beach nor do we offer rentals of tables out there. Unfortunately we have had vandals destroy and/or relocate tables each time we've tried to put them out there, so we have made the decision to no longer do it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
fishing information
- Shoreline fishing is allowed at both lakes. At Center Lake, with the removal of the pier, we require fishing to be done at a safe distance away from the swim area when the buoys are out from May-August. At Pike Lake, no fishing from the pier is allowed when lifeguards are present.
- If you want to fish after park hours, the Parks Office offers a nighttime fishing pass. You must visit the office during business hours with your valid fishing license and ID to obtain this pass. There is no cost for it.
Lifeguard information
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 season! Visit this page to apply.
The Parks Department assigns lifeguards to oversee the beaches from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend as staffing and schedules allow. Lifeguard shifts generally run seven days a week from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. However, as staffing levels fluctuate throughout the season and towards its conclusion, lifeguards may be assigned to only one lake or may be scheduled exclusively on weekends.
Lifeguards will not be on duty if the temperature is below 70 degrees. In the event of approaching inclement weather, a light strobe and siren will sound at both beaches. We ask that park patrons clear the beach and seek shelter should this occur. We also kindly request our beach-goers to respect any requests or commands given by our lifeguards. Safety is our #1 concern, and abuse and/or belligerent behavior toward any member of our Parks staff will not be tolerated.
