Anchorage Road will close beginning Monday, March 16, for a road reconstruction project.The first segment to close will be from the railroad track to the east side of Kimal Drive.Businesses on the west side of the closure will be accessible from State Road 15, including those in Northgate Plaza, Horizon Bank, Lutheran EMS, and LT Siding Window and Door.Businesses within the closed area and to the east side of the closure will be accessible from US 30, including Airworx, Batesville Casket, GetFit24, Goodwill, Wong's Restaurant, Ben's Auto Services, Bowen Health, Aegis Dental Group and Shamrock Village Mobile Home Park.Residents in the closed area will have access to their homes at all times from the east (US30). Trash and recycling routes will remain on their normal scheduled days. Trash pickup may occur earlier than normal, so all cans should be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on trash and recycle pick up days. A representative from the contractor, Structurepoint, will contact these residents in the coming days.Unless visiting a business or residence on Anchorage Road, all motorists should use State Road 15 and US 30 to detour the closure.Sunset Drive will be closed to through traffic at Lyon Street. Residents along Sunset Drive will not have access from the North. Sunset Drive residents should use Lyon Street and State Road 15 to navigate around the closure.The Anchorage Road reconstruction project will rebuild the utility and road infrastructure in the area and add sidewalks to improve safety in the area. The project is anticipated to conclude in late Fall.

Winter Emergency Shelter and Cold Weather Warming Station
The Fellowship Missions Winter Emergency Shelter and the Cold Weather Warming Center has been developed to provide relief to the men, women, and children that are homeless in Kosciusko County when inclement weather occurs.
Winter Emergency shelter
Winter Emergency Shelter is declared from November 1st through March 31st . If the shelter beds are full, Fellowship Missions will start placing individuals on mats for their overnight stay. The Winter Emergency Shelter will be open when one or more of the following conditions exist:
- The temperature is at or will fall to 32°F or below during the night
- There is, or will be, hazard like conditions anytime during the night.

Monday - Sunday: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Warming Center
If the temp is 32° F or below , or there is hazardous weather during daytime hours, Fellowship Missions will be opened during the day as a safe warming shelter. To check to see if the warming center is available for the day, please call our front desk (574) 268-9555.
Warming center operation hours when open:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Sunday: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
