The City of Warsaw Human Resources Department is responsible for ensuring staffing needs for the city are met according to local, state, and federal guidelines. In addition, the coordination, development, and administration of personnel policies and procedures relating to employment and benefits for employees of the city.
As legally required, the City makes equal employment opportunities available to all without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, disability, citizenship status, military status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law. This policy applies to applicants and employees and to all aspects of employment including hiring, promotion, demotion, pay or other forms of compensation, and termination of employment. The City of Warsaw participates in the E-Verify program to confirm the employment eligibility of all new employees. The E-Verify program compares information from an employee's Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to data from U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Social Security Administration records to confirm employment eligibility.
