A ribbon cutting was held on October 11 for the new Stormwater Utility filtering amphitheater project along the Beyer Farm Trail. This project promotes water quality through use of pervious recycled materials, the addition of native plants to stabilize soil, and tiered pervious seating for students and community members to gather on and experience nature while learn about water quality. Educational signs and additional plants will be added soon. Special thanks to the community partners and donors who made this project come to life - including Lutheran Health Network KCH, SRKM Architecture, Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams, and G&G Hauling & Excavating.
