Curfew
City of Warsaw Curfew for Underage Individuals


It is a curfew violation for a child 15, 16, or 17 years of age to be in a public place:
  • Between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday
  • After 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
  • Before 5:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday


It is a curfew violation for a child under 15 years of age to be in a public place:
  • After 11:00 p.m. any day
  • Before 5:00 a.m. any day


These curfew restrictions do not apply to a child who is:

  • Accompanied by his parent, guardian, or custodian
  • Accompanied by an adult specified by his parent, guardian, or custodian
  • Participating in, going to, or returning from
- Lawful employment
- A school-sanctioned activity
- A religious event
- Interstate travel with the consent of his parent or guardian


A parent or legal guardian is deemed to violate the curfew ordinance when a child residing with that parent or legal guardian engages in a curfew violation.
