Housing Opportunities of Warsaw
Housing Opportunities of Warsaw (HOW) was formed in 1997 and was certified through the State of Indiana as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) in May of 1998. HOW has utilized both government and private funding to improve the housing conditions of families throughout Kosciusko County.

HOW has assisted Warsaw, Pierceton, Winona Lake, Claypool, and Syracuse with federal housing grants. The organization has also received funding for the past three years from Rural Development to rehabilitate homes in rural Kosciusko County.

HOW partners with Real Services of South Bend and Rural Development in Plymouth, Indiana, to ensure local homeowners get funding given to these organizations for home improvement for Kosciusko County residents.

"The mission of Housing Opportunities is to encourage and expand safe and affordable housing by providing opportunity and choice through investment in people and communities."
