The City of Warsaw provides snow removal assistance to those deemed unable to do so themselves by a medical professional. Only the snow accumulated at the end of a driveway by the snow plows will be removed by the City. Citizens are responsible for snow removal in the rest of the driveway and on their property. The City's trick-or-treat is always held on Halloween night (October 31), unless it falls on a Sunday. Then it is takes place on the Saturday night prior. Hours are 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Trash, yard waste, and recycling should all be set out by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day. Call (574) 372-9561 for further information.
Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department facilities may be reserved one year in advance on the first working day of the month your event is scheduled for. Reservations are available through the park office at Central Park. Some facilities require deposits, so please call the Central Park Office at (574) 372-9554 for more information.
You may put the ticket and money inside the yellow envelope provided and bring it to the police station, or mail the ticket and payment to the police department at the address on the envelope. There are also a number of yellow fine deposit boxes attached to light poles in the downtown area.
